Boarding Is Bad

Boston's Patrice Bergeron looked like he got decapitated in a game against Philadelphia Saturday night. Bergeron is out of the hospital after suffering a broken nose and a concusion. This has nothing to do with the Blues. We just wanted that headless picture on our Web site because it's cool and stuff. We especially enjoy how the Philadelphia goalie has no regard for a headless opponent a few feet away. Maybe he's afraid to touch him because he's outside the trapazoid behind the net.

Other things of note: that’s a pretty impressive bald-spot on the last picture. What is Game Time’s official stance on tuopé’s?

i’m thinking the caption for the second photo should be
“oh my god its full of stars”
or maybe
“snow angels rock, ice angels— not so much”

i’m glad to hear bergeron is doing ok. with the broken nose, maybe he’ll get one of those sweet face shields like jackman has been wearing. every time i see it i can’t help but think of those cones they put on dogs when they get hurt. i know the official line is that it’s supposed to protect his injury from hits by other players, but maybe the shield is really meant to keep jacks from scratching at his stitches with his back paws?

Jessica wins. What a great analogy – now that’s all I’ll be thinking when I see it.

I’ll never forget my first headless person. When we came up to the guy who was dressed in his man dress, sure enough he was cradling his head just below his chest like he was relaxing in the middle of the afternoon. TY Iraq for the great memories.
