I would very nearly guarantee that we will have an open thread tonight for the Blues hosting Dallas. We'll be on the lookout for any news about the game later this afternoon, so check back if you'd like.

To get ready to make fun of the Dallas Stars, we present this interesting photo of three Stars players, including backup goaltender Mike Smith, ganging up on Dallas Drake over the weekend. We didn't know Drake was so tough that it takes half of the Stars players on the ice to go after him. What a bunch of pussies. Your comedy in the comments please.

not to get off topic (i’m sure there will be a thread about this soon) but i’m really glad ot see that manny got the nod for the allstar game (although the omission of bradley boyes is disappointing). i don’t actually care about the game (i prefer to watch the skills competition), but i do think that this is one situation where we can give bettman a little credit for not “making this one count” like the mlb allstar game. but congrats to manny, he deserves it.
