Preds At Blues Open Thread

By Brad Lee
It's the free food day. Gravy's out of town, I'll be at the game listening to my arteries harden, the Answer Man is blatantly avoiding me and it's cold as hell, which is a weird analogy but it still works.
The game is on the CW11. Follow along and leave your comments or come back here after the game and tell your stories of fighting over the last order of chicken strips with a 200-pound 12 year old.

They don’t let the players get free food until after the game. Oh, wait, you’re not talking about EJ?
If this year’s free food game is like last years’, they won’t be running out of food. I wanted to get a bottle of water late in the game last year, and they forced me to take an order of chicken strips with it. They wouldn’t give me the water without it! (there was a pile of strips left)

Last year’s game was great, except the hot dogs I got were as cold as ice… disgusting.

Apparently Glumac can hit…
…and the Preds score shorthanded. Weak. Just fucking weak!

I don’t think anyone is enjoying their food at this point of the game…. yikes this is getting ugly.

yeah i missed this one. i can hardly watch this crap. happy to see glumac out there.
jay mcclement who is the imposter with your jersey on out there? to the fourth line.
walt, you’re not supposed to eat any donuts until after the season there. two words to describe tkchoke: lazy and SLOW. time to trade the cancer. wish there was someway we could have kept weight and sent walt to anaheim.
brewer or mckee has to go. cause well we got plenty of defensive dmen but not all of them should make $4million plus. we need offensive defensemen. we need wagner in the line up. we should bring woywitka up. and/ or get campbell from the sabres and sign him up.
oh and only keep players around who have pride in the note.
p.s. dear walt, you still have another year before you retire.

Mrs. GTPD had me doing some home improvement work, so all I had was the radio to listen to… but that was bad enough.
What the bloody Hell is wrong with this team right now?

well that was depressing. maybe they need to nix promo days altogether. it seems the Blues don’t try when we have one. remember Brett Hull retirement night? JD better call a team meeting and straighten this lackluster play out. being outscored 21-9 in 4 games is just awful.
those of you that got Game Time issues, turn the page to the bingo game and circle “Someone cool gets Game Time on the jumbotron”.
yours truly waved his issue amidst the ballons for the lucky skate shuffle.

at least we got to see McKee KILL Peverley! he ran him over like a mack truck!
speaking of which, I had a thought the last game I went to and remembered it at free food day. you know the “big hits” reel they show? they should cater it to whoever the Blues are playing that particular night. like if we’re playing Chicago, all we’d see are Blackhawks getting hit by whoever (not just Blues players) and the Blues hitting whoever (not just Hawk players) they could keep the same Blues hits and splice out the opponents’ misfortunes.
what do you think? would it psyche the fans up more than the usual reel?

Yo Brad, where you you? The AMC got the royal treatment yesterday. Yes, we “dabbled” in the free grub but we also got Box Seats. Man, that is livin’. A certain bank that has offices here and in KC treated us. Dude, it was REAL nice. Too bad the Blues were about as inspired as two Frenchman getting ready to shower. Yeow, that was a stinker.
