I think people enjoy watching young hockey players for a couple reasons. One is that it usually gives hope for building a team in the future. A guy near 20 years old can always get better while a guy near 30, unless his name is Barry Bonds or Roger Clemens, probably won't. But even more than that hope is how much fun it is to see a young guy so thrilled to be performing on the big stage. That exuberence from David Perron and David Backes might even lead to something like this...
