GT News: We have a photographer
By Sean Gallagher
You never know who you're going to meet when you stand out on the streets of St. Louis and try to sell a magazine to hockey fans. Well, that's not entirely true. You do know for a fact that you're going to meet:
-The drunk guy you can smell from five feet away who really, really wants to know when you're going to give him a job selling papers. Boy, it's really too bad that we're fully staffed right now.
-The guy who used to sell papers for you, needed bus fare to get home from Kentucky once, promised to pay you back and then disappeared. Now he wants a job again. Probably should have let him walk home from Kentucky. He might almost be here by now.
-Lots of people who hope that you're the one guy scalping tickets who doesn't physically scare them. You are not.
But sometimes you meet people who really have something unique to offer. Hell, I think I met about half of our current writers for the paper on the street. Of course, only about half of those guys will tell us their real name, but hey, what do we care about real names?
During the latest homestand, we met yet another helpful guy who wanted to do something for the paper. And so, we proudly present to you the newest member of the GT Staff, Andrew D'Angelo, our staff photographer.
Andrew will be providing us our own source of game photos for use in the paper and on this website. We think that you'll like many of them. Our early favorite: the TJ Oshie SO game winner that shows the puck in the back of the net. We like it better than the one that was floating around the internet the next day.
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, so here's about 5,000 more words for you. Thank you, Andrew.

Sean,
Thanks for the ride home. Let me know when I can pay you back,
Sincerely,
Lester Walker

Dude, you don’t know. Maybe Loser Brian is a family name.

Cool. GT goes semi-mainstream. Like the photos!
PS – My real name is Kal-El, son of Jor-El, but don’t tell anyone …
PPS – Nicholas Cage apparently actually named his kid Kal-El. What an enema nozzle. http://justjared.buzznet.com/2007/02/01/kal-el-cage/

Andrew. Dude. We should get together for a road trip. With my good looks, and your ability to capture pictures of my good looks, we’d be sure to come home with some grade “A” material (and pelt stains) for a “Flash Points” write-up.
Let me know, and I’ll pack enough “stuff” for both of us.

speaking of flash’s dashing good looks, does the fact that you have a photog mean that devoted female gametime fans can now look forward to a ‘men of gametime’ calendar we have all been clambering for?
if so, would it come with the same curse as the blues calendar? like, if answer man’s sweet pecs/lats/delts grace december’s page, would he be guaranteed to find himself in south county on the wrong end of a redneck’s meth rage that would leave him unable to chest bump for 4-6 weeks? tragedy.
perhaps this calendar is a bad idea for any number of reasons.

no offense was meant, gift. i was simply using the mythical answer man as an example. i’m sure your five hole would look just great on a calendar. (geez… already with the egos!)

Am I seeing only every third post, or are these posts purposefully obscure and confusing?

Hmm, my five hole on a calendar…my mother wouldn’t approve.

I probably shouldn’t do this, but I’m going to any way. I got this note from a girl in California that used to be a buyer from me in Fenton. She read “Flash Points” and is very, VERY, jealous of Jessica’s wit.
I don’t think I have ever kissed as much ass as I do with you. I just enjoyed your post so damn much. (Yeah, ok, there is the whole chemistry thing which was the catalyst- but since you refuse to light that bunsen burner – I’ll take your words instead, at least for now.)
WARNING….
I like swallowing you. I get all tingly thinking about it.
So where is your next stop on your traveling reporter tour? Need a willing and capable secretary?
Hoping to come back in my next life as JD’s Khavanov jersey,
Xxxxxx
P.S. Oh why, oh why, can’t I be as witty as Jessica…..?

We could do a “Women of GT” Calendar, but that’s only if Jessica doesn’t mind doing 12 different photo sessions.
Back on topic, though, the new pictures and photographer are fucking sweet!

I’m sure Jessica would only need to grace one month. With the sweet ride and total control of Answer Mom’s basement, I’ sure Answer Man has eleven honeys who are calendar worthy.

“I’m”. Damn. That could have been funny if I would have proofread before posting. shakes fist

the “Women of GameTime” calandar is very possible. we have Jessica, Christine, and Diane (or Diana, can’t remember which), and then the rest of the months can be filled in with the staff’s wives/girlfriends. you know the Prospect Department is always bragging about his better half

Hello All! I’m still recuperating from a knee injury (as Sean knows), but does it stop me from seeing my Blues?? Hell no it does not! I just hopped on here this evening, because I remember Sean saying he was going to spread…er uh…um…spread his…oh shit…nevermind…oh wait…yeah, do a spread on me?? Wait, that just don’t sound right (is my sense of humor blending into with the rest of you guys??).
Sean and the gang at GT (and the girls, apparently)…I thank you for this great honor (being a Blues Fan and a photographer) of thinking my photos are worthy for your publication/website. I’m touched…I really am. Thank you so much for all your commentary and compliments and I hope to do the Blues’ (and GT) proud for the rest of the year.
