Alex Kovalev, formerly known as the laziest player in the league, has been playing the role of local stud in Montreal this season. He currently leads his team with 74 points (31 goals, 43 assists) in 73 games.

But what the hell is going on here?

Look Mom! I can swim!

Is he showing off his best frog impression? Is he trying out for the Russian synchronized swimming team in hopes for a spot in the Olympic Games? Is he getting ready for the hits Cam Janssen will pummel him with in tonight's game? No... probably not that last one...

K, so I’m smidge late, and by a smidge I mean a pubic hair away from 4 months, but Gift’s summation of that scraggly bastard is the first thing that popped into my head. While that is part of the reason for this overdue tyrade, the main reason is that I just wanted to say that this is the most amazing Blues fansite that I have found. It has kept me captivated over the last week as my hockey-deprived carcass has poured over every last funny, sad, and brilliantly snarky comment.

Oh yea, and thanks to Mr. GTPD for the über run down of this years draft picks. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to making this my home during the upcoming season :)
