I voted for Barc ...
even though I thought the Thomas taken netz go home one was better than all of these. How did that one not make the finals?
Used to be Aaron, but some douchebag Celtics fan has that one already.
It was never posted in the FanPosts, which was one of like 2 rules.
It was in a GDT and I even said at the time that it should be moved. I really liked that one, too.

My goof
I saw the comment about posting it in the FanPosts and just forgot to move it over. Rookie learning curve is a bitch.
Good luck to the others, some fine work there.

They're all great...
…but how can you not love “Barc in the rafters?”
If you truly Bleed Blue, that one is the only possible choice.

This is impossible
So many brilliant choices, including ones beyond the finalists. I’ve no idea how I’ll vote.
Weird, but a bunch of dust kicked up off my keyboard when I saw the Barclay one. If I had any hope of explaining to my (late) dad what a “LOLcat” was, I know how he’d vote.

I wanted to vote for the Dooks…the McAlpine thing was brilliant. But the biting social commentary of Hullie in the crease got my vote.

Ah man,
That signed puck would have been nice

All of these were good in their own right. The one that gets me was belfour. I loved it. The reason? I can’t stop saying:
BBBBLLLEEEEAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!
I love it.

I think Poor College Student enlisted the help of a computer lab at his college :p
how did that Plager pic double its vote totals within a day’s time?
Maybe the fine folks of the City of Montreal hijacked it . . . NHL Fan Vote style.

Facebook messaging to several Blues fans around campus with nothing better to do on a day with a shortened snow schedule. Thank God for snow days.

I contemplated doing the same . . .
then thought I’d make myself out to be a total cockbag if I did it.
I’m not judging you or anything, though.

I call shennanigans and....
“suspicion of doucebaggery”
Besides, you can only take one of those friends to the Blues game. Are you going to tell the other 48 that you didn’t win?

LOL
nah … he’s just yanking your chain a little. I think he’s a little disappointed, mostly due to the tix. He’s — assuming — that he’d be going with me to the game. I was thinking about the puck ….

for reals. we definitely need a sarcasm button. typing “:p” apparently isn’t enough.
it’s all in fun though. I’m just astounded as many people voted for mine as they did.
good work man. honestly, I voted for “Levitashun”
A wit so sharp that sometimes even I take myself seriously sometimes...
Tim,
If you weren’t such a Facebook Luddite, you might have won this contest!
Of course, it might have helped your cause if you had voted for your own entry! ;)
Besides, I wouldn’t have gone to the game with you. Then you would have had to lie about accepting the puck as the prize to the other 27 people that voted for your submission!
I still lean towards “Shennanibaggery” though. Although a “Poor College Student” would have a greater need for free tickets, I would think that Facebook messaging several hockey fans around campus might have been more believable appropriate. If it brings more faces into the site, more power to the shennanigans, I say. Especially if those new fans are attractive, female, and graduate students. :)
Enjoy the snow days while you have them. After you graduate to become a Poor Working American like the rest of us, the weather doesn’t stop you from having to work. ;)

Well, I’ve got the ladyfriend at least lurking around the site (I imagine she’ll be commenting before too long). I’ll see if there’s any 5th year students that can define what “offsides” is and I’ll refer them to you. I wouldn’t hold my breath, though.
As for enjoying the snow days, worry not. I make the most of ’em.

Congratulations to everyone!
You all went above and beyond on this contest and we’re really (really) blown away by everyone’s work. Congrats to PCS – I’ll be in touch shortly.
By the way, to our friend spectr who probably would have been in the running on this if he’d put his beauty in the right spot, you get the consolation prize: your ‘taken my nets’ pic will be featured in tomorrow’s print issue of Game Time.
Thanks again everyone, we’re already working on our next contest and the prize should be pretty interesting for everyone involved.
