Times are tough in Motown, but I never would have imagined this:

This might also provide a clue for the Detroit practice facility....

It turns out that this explorer last week was playing hockey with a group of other explorers on the frozen waters that had collected in the basement of the building. None of the men called the police, the explorer said. They, in fact, continued their hockey game.

I hope that’s how I go, too.

Now I feel bad questioning Detroit’s “Hockeytown” creds, because playing in an abandoned basement around a dead body is taking your hockey pretty seriously. Plus, I feel like a St. Louisan would at least call the news and be all, “I’m a hero, and I want to talk to Karen Foss right now” about it.
