Eh, why not....
Still to this date my favorite piece I have created…
"Brad Winchester playing on a line with Perron and Berglund is like the fat kid who you invite to play one day because you didn't have enough skaters, yet you don't have the heart to tell them to leave the next few times you play. Damn you Andy Murray." -Author Unknown

I still can't believe
no one has jumped on that Walt quote at BND.

*raises hand*
I got it yesterday in the links section. :D Nothing like that escapes my attention, mostly because I’m guilty of saying stuff that tends to sound wrong. I wonder, though, if that was an accident…
Anywho, I am so making the bacon jam.
Reporter: There`s a "stamp out the Beatles movement" underway in Detroit. What are you going to do about it?
Paul McCartney: We`re going to start a campaign to stamp out Detroit.

I'm dumb.
I didn’t realize that you meant actually on the newspaper’s site.
So, swine flu? Did the bacon jam story hit close to home?

Swine flu has hit this area bad
the school district nest to ours close all wk because of it.
My 7yo said 8 kids from his class were absent yesterday.
My 10 yo only had half his soccer team at practice Tues.
I’m waiting for my boys to get it any day now.
It isn’t that bad. Just achy and want to sleep all day. At least not a pukey sickness.
I’ve actually had bacon jam a lot as a kid, hmm might need to head to my Aunt Billie’s house in the ozarks, she made the best bacon jam.

Yeah, I had that shit.
Wasn’t horrible.
But I was quarantined for a week. And didn’t have to do work for that long, so it wasn’t that bad.
Sometimes, I wonder why hockey came south of St. Louis, and then I realize, I'm south of St. Louis. Coincidence, I think not.

Gonna miss another GDT
I’ll be landing in the Valley Of The Sun around 8pm Phoenix time on my way back to Shaky Town. I’m tempted to grab a cab and hit the game since I’ll be right there and the Blues won’t be in LA for awhile. I’m actually gonna miss the Blues’ first game against the Ducks due to an elk hunting trip so it’s gonna be a long drought of live Blues hockey.
Speaking of GDT threads, I tried to log on to the mobile commenting thing and all I got was date processing screen for about 10 mins and then I gave up. Tried it 2x and the samie same. Hep this ole man out pleez.
Some days its just not worth chewing through the restraints

That flute player is awesome . . .
but I have a feeling that this guy might be able to compete with him.

One day, David Backes and Albert Pujols will combine forces to become the most awesome piece of violent force known to man.

the checketts situation
a few stories in the post (stltoday.com) about dave ejecting the rushman, and how he is now considered a top tier candidate for buying the rams. again, is this good, is this bad? eh still has to win the team first i guess. checketts will likely be the number one rams story every week this season that the rams lose.

So... number one story every week, huh?
Honestly, Checketts hasn’t had to do much with the Blues. All he’s had to do so far are (1) hire hockey people, and (b) let them do their jobs. Granted, Checketts bought the Blues from a buffoon who couldn’t follow either one of those rules; but so far he hasn’t had to whack any of his front-office staff, and his most difficult PR jobs have involved that phony “Blue Revolution” crap and a broken escalator.

checketts
he is the only identified potential ownership group, a post “checketts” search lists more ram stories in the last week than blues stories, what in the world would people want to read about the rams?
google dave checkets and count, more first page rams stories than blues. again why will this change?
until the other ownership groups are identified, the only st. louis football game in town IS checketts, and he grabbed the headlines cos of the rushman’s antics, he keeps the spotlight because now all the locals will be slobbering over the potential greatness of a checketts owned rams team.
i mean imagine, a ram team with football knowledge in the draft process, the trade process, the free agent process, and the coaching process. one might think the rams could turn it around immediately!!
i mean if checketts buys the rams tomorrow the FINAL piece on sunday will be ticket sales!!!!!
TICKET SALES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know
if the game is going to be on the NHL network or anything on Dish? We just got the super premium package at our apartment and I haven’t really figured out how much hockey we actually get.

He likes to start the party...
He likes to start the party…
He likes to rock the party.
I once shot a man just to see him die...then I got distracted and missed it.
