Have DishNetwork? Then you don't get to see the Blues tonight.

According to tweets from both the Post-Dispatch's Jeremy Rutherford, and KMOX's Chris Kerber, for those of you in the St. Louis area with DishNetwork, the Blues game will not be shown tonight.

No reason was given, nor was anything said if the game (either the St. Louis, or Phoenix feed) would be blacked out on NHL Center Ice (you know, those cool channels that start at 627).

Even if you don't subscribe to the Center Ice package, it might be worth it to check those channels for the game. The free preview is still um...free. If you're lucky you'll get the Phoenix feed with Dave Strader and ex Blue Tyson Nash, yep, Tyson Nash.

There has been neither confirmation, nor denial of the rumor that Dish Network had everything set up for a broadcast from the Hamilton, Ontario area tonight and wasn't told that the team hasn't moved just yet.

lol i suspect if someone can’t find a computer feed, those without the game should pool resources and find a bar that will have a feed for tonight.?
i vaguely understand the verses battle, but now they ain’t paying the fox sports midwest to get the local feed?!?! what they getting the fox sports midwest pacers game?

I have NEVER said this, but thank God I have DirecTV. And I have REALLY never said this, but thank God I live in GA so the game wouldn’t be blacked out regardless.

They spent billions on other sports.

ESPN has to show a crapload of NFL programming to make back the billion-plus dollars a year they’re paying for those rights. Throw in $500 million in rights fees to the NBA, $300 million to MLB, and $270 million for NASCAR, and you’ve pretty much filled out everything ESPN is going to mention on SportsCenter.

ESPN told the NHL to eat a big fat shit sandwich. Fuck ’em.

DO NOT WATCH THE PHOENIX FEED

Or at least mute it and listen to the radio. Strader is good. Nash makes me want to take a power drill to me ear drums. Save yourself the pain.

Apparently this is a contract dispute between FSM and Dish

It’s like Versus against Directv, just on a very local level.

When they put more blues games on FSM this year, they had to renegotiate deals with all the providers, which they have with most of em, but not Dish yet. So this is gonna affect more than just tonight’s game.
