Saturday GDT Roll Call

By and large, traffic 'round these parts is quieter on the weekends than during the week. We get it: surfing the internet is the new smoke break in working America; we're just glad you spend some of your smoke-break time with us during the day and that we can't give you cancer. That we know of.

So, all that said, when we have a weekend GDT blow past the 1,000 comment mark like Lindsay Lohan blowing by a "Do Not Enter" sign, it's even more impressive.

Not really thinkin' thats the best idea ever...

We already rack up the posts like non-other which is AWESOME! And while some of our posts may be totally random, somehow they fit in…

For some reason, I forsee having a physical prize (t-shirt) resulting in random junk posts etc which could detract from the overall flow/awesomeness of our boards.

Just my two cents worth on that matter…

You do explain a good point.

However, This was just a thought, and if the writers of Game Time took this into consideration, they could fine tune the ideas. I would say that it is too expensive to be handing out shirts every game. I would suggest that the #1 poster per week/month would be worthy of the awesomeness of a Game Time shirt.

Let’s keep it simple, but worthwhile. IF … IF there’s a prize to be awarded, how about a free electronic subscription to GT? It’s not going to bankrupt The Man to give one away, and it’s still a kick-ass prize. I’d recommend it’d be given away at the end of the year, and be for the next year’s worth of .pdf GTs …
