the problem side of this

since, apparently, it is my job to point out the problems.

is that these top guys are already getting paid not to play.

alex and 4 players not in the nhl are making over 800 k each. heck alex is making more than ej is this season.

cap hit is even worse alex is 3 mil, lars is 1.3 mill bishop is about 900k

it is one of the reasons the nhl has gotten to be a developmental league. the blues may have an option on alex this year, but very soon they will have no choice (due to money reasons, not hockey reasons) but to alex, lars, at least one of their next gen goalies….

moeny is going to tell the blues the youth are now nhl starters..
