A piece gets written about the Leafs not playing well by an HNIC contributor and he gets canned. Makes you wonder, doesn't it? (Thanks, Andy)

Good article about the fight, especially this comment “So to summarize: cable and satellite companies in pissing contest, each tries to make the other look like assholes when in reality they both are, and the only ones who get screwed are the customers.”

And another good point made is how, when playing in a publically owned stadium such as the Rams play in can the game not be seen when they’re playing in “my” house.

Man I’ve got Darcy Tucker on my fantasy team, no wonder he got me NOTHING last night. I think we should get something for injuries. 1pt for able to limp off, 2 pts needs help off, 3 pts for a hospital ride.
And on another fantasy note: do penalty minutes count good or bad? Got on this morning and saw Eric Staal had 26 minutes in the bad boy box. ‘That accounts for more than half of this total penalty minutes in each of the last two seasons.’
