Your Late Night Poll: Sweeping Sweden Version

Ho hum. So we beat Detroit, again, today. And while there are certainly a few Wing-fan websites out there who are trying to figure out what happened or chalk it up to bad luck and bad bounces rather than bad goaltending and a clearly slower team, we know what's up.

Which made us think; Detroit isn't on the schedule again until Nov. 28, but the other supposed Goliath of the Central (with their own goaltending worries due to the two universal rules: never start a land war in Asia and never trust a Frenchman to protect you) isn't on the schedule until Dec. 16. There are a lot of games that need to be won before either of those, but still....

Which Central Division team are you looking forward to facing most?
Detroit again. We always like going to visit the old folks' home.

Chicago. Those games are gonna be fun. And drunk. And punchy.

One of those other teams. Because I hate real rivalries.

Chicago

With these two games, it’s obvious the Blues can play with the Wings and beat them. They have been the class of the Central, so that’s a good feeling. Now they have to matchup with the assumed heir to Detroit, the Hawks. In many of the season previews, the Central always came down to Hawks or Wings. No mention of the Blues. Well let’s fuck that up.

Next Wings game is Thanksgiving weekend. That will be fun, in a greedy sort of way.

I can't wait...

It’s also my birthday weekend. And RFJCC and I will be at the game. I’m totally excited.

Sometimes, I wonder why hockey came south of St. Louis, and then I realize, I'm south of St. Louis. Coincidence, I think not.

I chose the Hawks

Because at least they play the part of a rival. I mean rivalries are supposed to be mean and nasty right? The Wings seem mostly timid and turtling.

Had I made it in here on time . . .

I would’ve voted Chicago. Fuck Chicago. No Olympics for you, dickbags.

One day, David Backes and Albert Pujols will combine forces to become the most awesome piece of violent force known to man.
