Walt certainly earned his paycheck this weekend.

There’s a phrase not uttered often, eh?

One day, David Backes and Albert Pujols will combine forces to become the most awesome piece of violent force known to man.

Thanks Carnie
I’m one of the people that thought it would be a mistake to let Walt go.

“He led all players in the game with seven hits, recorded five shots and won nine of 16 face-offs.”
Not bad for an old grizzled guy. Andy needs to remind his youngsters that they should be embarrassed that the old man had more hustle than them.

I wonder if our old friend ChrisD has any thoughts

… considering he was Walt’s biggest critic??

I doubt he even strays from his usual label of “Tkafatass”

No beer and no TV make Homer...something something.

Speaking of which . . .

did you see this prize-winning whateverthefuck from On The Forecheck (Nashville)?

Meh.

And obviously the answer was "yes"

based on this morning’s links, which I hadn’t read before I made that comment.

/facepalm

I don't know..

I think Oshie had one hell of a 2nd game. (regarding grit, hustle, and determination.)
I agree though, Walt looked like he was playing for more than the paycheck…finally.

Where has THIS Walt been?

by DanGNR on Oct 5, 2009 10:48 PM CDT up reply actions

Not to mention...

He just destroyed Leino and knocked him out for the rest of the game. I think I was more impressed by that than by the two goals.

Reporter: There`s a "stamp out the Beatles movement" underway in Detroit. What are you going to do about it?

Paul McCartney: We`re going to start a campaign to stamp out Detroit.

I've been a "salvo Ketith now" advocate for awhile

but I do need to extend mad love to his big azz for the 2 games last week.

Some days its just not worth chewing through the restraints

Hey!

Let’s just go back to hating on Jackman!

I’ll grab the pitchforks. Donut King, you get all the gasoline and lighters you can get your hands on!

We need us a whipping boy, dammit!
