Monday links: Going head first into the week like Andy McDonald into the boards edition
Another weekend down, another week begins. I hope you all had a good Halloween. My "Joe with a two-week beard" costume went over great. I'm thinking "Joe with a 'stache" for next year.

Strachan and Statsny
I heard both ended their first game back with the Rivermen injured, as well as Derek Armstrong who left the game early after a “vicious hit away from the play”. So apparently if anymore forwards get hurt, we have a high probability to see Eller or Porter

Off Topic
But why would there be a sudden jump in support for the Maple Leafs in the middle of nowhere, Wyoming? Today I’ve seen two jerseys and 3 people wearing hats…for the first time this entire semester. They don’t even play tonight. Oh well, I rocked the Blues draft hat.

Weirdly
I bumped into a guy in the Dr Who Exhibition at Lands End, Cornwall UK who was wearing a Maple Leafs jersey. It was just before the playoffs last year and I was wearing my Blues jersey – he wished the Blues luck and wanted us to kick Vancouvers ass.
I rarely see another jersey’d person so it was quite an event.

One of the guys who was wearing the jersey had made a comment to me earlier this semester about me wearing my Blues jersey and yah wished our team good luck. I think most of them are pretty good sports about it. It was just weird to see so many of them out today, for no apparent reason.

Good to see Oshie...
Is healing rapidly.
Of course, since Technoviking performed the appendectomy with the help of the dark arts, healing time should be expected to be more rapid.

So . . .
“blackface” is no longer for Halloween costumes anymore. It’s for burglaries too, eh? I’ll “remember” that. Dumb fuckers.

I'm guessing you saw the photos on Puck Daddy...
… of the Blackhawks Halloween party?

Burish, Sharp, and Kane dressed as Rodman, Coach Q, and Pippen. There’s something seriously wrong with 2 of those costumes.

Is Sharp supposed to be Coach Q or Circa 1998 Phil Jackson?
Either way, he’s cool . . . the others – not so much.
And yeah, I saw this . . . re-dick-uh-luss.
