I can't believe that play, and I've watched it 6,244 times
I was trying to post this video, too, but the site kept saying that the html was blank. What’s up with that?

right now the NHL video isn't compatible with FanPosts/FanShots.
They are working on it.

Fucking. Amazing.
Better than Crombeen’s curl-and-drag dazzler last year. Up there with Teej’s sick shit on Luongo last year. Un. Be. Lievable.
One day, David Backes and Albert Pujols will combine forces to become the most awesome piece of violent force known to man.

I concur
Live and in person was awesome, but I didn’t clearly see the between his own legs move…
Can’t wait to see it on HD when they replay it tonight.
Fucking unreal…

just sick
I saw him carry into the zone and I figured it was just a stall until the rest of linemmates came in. The deke, the stickwork, the skating — all awesome. Perhaps my favorite part was that he knew he’d go flying if he crashed the net and he still did it.
He’s out of the doghouse for good.

That
Is just beautiful.
I didn’t get to watch the game tonight. How’d we look?

Best comment of the goal
From kielejocain on STLToday
I hugged my TV. I stood up, walked across the room, and wrapped my arms around it. We shared a moment.

We had
great seats right behind the goal and about 8 or 10 rows back, and that goal blew people away. Gotta be the best goal I’ve seen in person, people were just like shocked and celebrating at the same time.

Speechless...
Remember when there was debate over whether we should get Pronger and trade Perron? That goal is the main reason why the team management didn’t do it. I taped the game and watched it over and over again… and I STILL can’t believe it.
He’s going to make a lot of good NHL players look stupid in his career.

I'm pretty sure
that goal brought a tear to even Roloson’s eye.
Sometimes, I wonder why hockey came south of St. Louis, and then I realize, I'm south of St. Louis. Coincidence, I think not.

.......and of course, not A SINGLE THING about it on nhl.com
multiple tabs about wins for Penguins, Red Wings, Maple Leafs. I’m sure somewhere in there is something about Crosby blocking that shot in the crease last month….
"Brad Winchester playing on a line with Perron and Berglund is like the fat kid who you invite to play one day because you didn't have enough skaters, yet you don't have the heart to tell them to leave the next few times you play. Damn you Andy Murray." -Author Unknown

What a delight to wake up to..
the score first…then that Perron goal. I’ve lost track of the number of times I’ve watched it.
However, like DJ above, I’m surprised there’s nothing about it on nhl.com.

As soon as this was posted...
I dropped a line with a link to this entry to Puck Daddy. He’s got David Perron as the 3rd Star of the night, and is also showing this video. Sweet.

"Hey....hey Islanders....
Tell me how my ass tastes."
—David Perron.
I’m pretty sure he singlehandedly burned at least 5 of the 6 guys on the ice.
Man that was fucking sweet to see live. I was in 310, so I got the heads-on view. What he did is illegal in 48 states, 82 countries, and makes the Blues subject to sanctions from the UN.

It's a playing card
With 9 hearts on it…but in the way Panger uses it, I’m right there with you. I have no friggin clue.

From here on out
Any time a player does something I don’t understand, its getting playing carded. Like when McClement had that wide open one timer and the puck rode up on him and he dropped the deuce.

I like that and I fully agree. Anyone who stuck with this team through the 05-06 season can in no way be called fair weather.

Well...
as one of my co-workers pointed out a few days ago…
I did drop my season tix for a year. I just couldn’t support what management was doing to the team by “blindly” supporting them.
I still took advantage of the pepsi fan can nights as well as other two fers as well as watched em on tv.
Don’t get me wrong, I still cared about the team. I did the only thing I knew how to let them know I did not approve of the way they were treating us and the team.
If that makes me a fair weather fan, please let me know so I can apologize, remove my signature as well as my membership from the GT brethren.
