Road Music, 11/25 @ DAL

I never thought I'd ever say this, but thank God that homestand is over ....

Star-divide

Here's to hoping that a change of scenery will shake the Blues out of this malaise. The daily routine here at home led to more and more inconsistency. Maybe, the shake up from traveling will allow the Boys in Blue to sharpen their focus. They sure seem to have trouble with that lately.

If they need any more motivation, they can just look at the game film from our last meeting with the North Stars. I'm sure Carlo and BJ are licking their chops to face  Cheap Steve Shot Ott again.

Ultimately, we need the win more than we need Ott to bleed. But then again, why can't we have both?

Everybody wants to score. Everybody wants to win. Everybody wants a piece of Ott.

Simply put, Everybody Wants Some!!

Van Halen / Everybody Wants Some!!

This is also your pre-game party, also. Gather, plot new and exciting methods of retribution, debate Van Roth vs Van Hagar, etc etc etc. Remember, tonight's game is on VS, so plan accordingly. The GDT will come shortly before the puck drops.

Lets Go Blues!

My comment that followed Ott's suspension still holds, in my mind.

It is here.

I’d love both, but if one or the other happens . . . I won’t be too bent up about it.

With that said, I’m bowling tonight. So I’ll be cheering for a win/“death” from the alleys. They’ll probably show the game, there’s enough hockey fans in town here.

One day, David Backes and Albert Pujols will combine forces to become the most awesome piece of violent force known to man.

Danke.

Fantasy teams adjusted accordingly.

Reporter: There`s a "stamp out the Beatles movement" underway in Detroit. What are you going to do about it?

Paul McCartney: We`re going to start a campaign to stamp out Detroit.

I don't know why

but I can’t stand David Lee Roth. The songs were good, but he’s just so fucking annoying.

Not that Sammy Haggar is much better. Or all his side businesses and the fascination by St. Louis with Haggar in general.

I’m blabbering on. I should stop now.

Yeah. I’m babbling too.

Keystone Lake Zamboni falls through thin ice

A Zamboni took a dip in North America's largest groomed skating pond at Keystone Resort tonight.
A driver was grooming the lake at about 6:15 p.m., when the ice cracked and the 7,000-pound machine began to sink at about 6:15 p.m. As a precaution, skaters were cleared from another area of the 5-acre pond, resort spokesman Ryan Whaley said. The driver was not injured.
There was no word immediately on how soon the rink might re-open, but staff will examine the ice and remove the Zamboni Wednesday, Whaley said.
"They'll take it out and we'll see how it is," Whaley said of the machine and the safety of the ice around the crater.
With a lake that large, other areas could reopen immediately, he said.

Once it dries out, the machine is likely salvageable, he said.
Kenneth Waesche snapped a photo of the sunken ice machine when he stopped by Lakeside Village for a pickup game of hockey. His wife planned to do some skating.
Waesche said that the "thin ice" sign in the foreground of the photo was some distance away from where the Zamboni went in.
The lake is typically open from Dec. 18 to March. 28 depending on the weather, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
