Road Music; 11/30 @ Columbus Blue Jackets
I don't know about you guys, but there's a particular Niagra Ice Dog that I'd like to see more of ...
I'm pissed that we lost that Detroit game in the shootout. Really though, that should have never gone to overtime. This is the second time in the last week that we've allowed a goal with less than a minute to play in regulation.
Can we get a clear, please?
Well, we missed a great opportunity to pass DET in the standings. We have a chance today to at least narrow that gap, with a little help from Dallas. We just have to do our part and beat Columbus. They have lost their last 5 games, with two charity points. Their last game saw a 3-1 lead disappear to an OTL. This team has been improving every year, though, and as long as Rick Nash is on their roster, they will be a threat to put points on the board in rapid fashion. We still need a full 60-minute effort, and certainly can't relax until the clock hits all zeroes. This is especially true on defense.
If only there was some young player, someone that is hungry to play, that the other teams haven't seen much of yet, that is eager to prove himself ready for the big time... Someone that won't take the ice time for granted...
If only ....
Look, Pietrangelo needs to play. Even if he gets sent back to Niagra, at least he'll be on the ice. I can't see how taking the Matt Walker tour of Pressboxes of the NHL (TM) is helping him develop. Murray, let him play. Even if you think he's too young for the Blues...

This is also your pre-party. Meet, gripe about 5-day work weeks, bitch about early start times, and try to figure out what this is, exactly:

Excellent choice CCR
No idea what that is. Looks like an ant but I’ve never seen green ants
Some days its just not worth chewing through the restraints
I’ve never seen green ants
I have, and that’s not one of them.
/substances shall remain nameless.
Let's go Blues!!!
what ever it is
he is green and his eyes are bloodshot . . . most times that is grounds to get tested by anti-doping agencies
Well, it's either gonna be Petro or Double J (or is it "Double Y"?).
Personally would prefer Petro, but . . . fuck it, let’s just beat the Jackets.
One day, David Backes and Albert Pujols will combine forces to become the most awesome piece of violent force known to man.
Double J?
So I’ve been called up from Rec League hockey to play Defense for the Blues? KICK ASS!!
Hehehe…the name on my jersey for rec league is Double J. I figured it sounded more hockey-ish than “Jenn Jenn”
Put your big girl panties on and deal with it!

i dont know about you guys but im tired of the way murray treats the youth on this team
Somliga tänker på framtiden och upprörd. Fheiceáil de börjar raket och skyddsrum. Fheiceáil De TJ Oshie, börja ett nedfallet tak. "
Murray is paid to win games.
usually, if you play all young kids, you lose more than you win (see: Coyotes, Phoenix over the last few seasons).
I’d rather see Pietrangelo play too, but I don’t think he gains anything in juniors, so he has to stay here. Perron only played 60 games his first year and he played more and more as the season went on. My guess is the same happens with 27.
i think it is kind of obvious
they are waiting for the call from Team Canada, for the world Juniors (because that is the best place for Petro right now) I do not think anyone in management feels that Petro is ready for the full time gig, and they know he will not benefit back at juniors. If allowed, they would send Petro to Peoria, the the league rules won’t let him, so it is not really Murray who is at fault here, but the league who in reality are limiting the options for highly talented young players.
