GT making its rounds for Truth, Justice and the American Way.
DanGNR reporting from Hotlanta, GA. I made it safe and sound to my brothers house on the outskirts of Atlanta, GA.
On the outset of my trip, I realized that I would pass pretty close to Metropolis. I figured I would stop and pay my respects to Superman Backes.
It is surprising that I have never made the trip to Metropolis. It is just a couple of miles off the highway. I have made the drive from the Lou to Hotlanta several times but have never stopped to see the Statue.

The same as you
Driven by numerous times on the way to somewhere else but never stopped.
I hear they have a lot of summer activities.
May be a nice weekend trip sometime, note to self
You made it here in one piece!
Color me impressed. I would suggest some cool places to show GT pride in front of, but… wait! Big Chicken!
That’s actually the only landmark here.
Reporter: There`s a "stamp out the Beatles movement" underway in Detroit. What are you going to do about it?
Paul McCartney: We`re going to start a campaign to stamp out Detroit.
Ahhh yes, Metropolis, IL.
Down in the part of the state of Illinois where, as a friend said last week (because we were traveling to the same general direction at the time), “the chickens are scared of the hoot owls”.
At least there’s a river there. Or else they’d be in Kentucky.
One day, David Backes and Albert Pujols will combine forces to become the most awesome piece of violent force known to man.
Superman was there BEFORE the casino.
/Why no picture of you with your face on the neck of the painted wooden Superman cut-out, DanGNR?
Let's go Blues!!!
Didn't know such thing existed...
Wasn’t much around and I was in a hurry to get here.
You can't call me a fair weather Blues fan.
