"Oshie" leads in naming contest for Jaguar Cubs...
...at the zoo in Evansville, Indiana. The cubs were born at the zoo early this fall; it is still quite rare that they are born in captivity, so this is a big deal for the zoo there. So far, Oshie leads Maya: 116 votes to 85.

The downside is....
Teej might become just the second most badass creature named Oshie in the US. Jaguars are awesome, ya know
Breaking News: I'm currently in the process of writing "I will not say and/or type "that word" 1,000 times.
Jaguars are found in the US
at least NOT at the present time. AZ biologists have recently captured several jaguars on game cams traveling back to their native land in the US from Mexico. Still no solid proof there is a breeding population on the US side. One was treed by a houndsman a few years back in AZ, I bet that was a religious moment arriving at the bayed up hounds only to see Mr. Chained Blue Lightnin himself.
Some days its just not worth chewing through the restraints
Well I guess we could try to name everything Oshie
But Colbert might start to notice.
