WE GOT TICKETS!!!!

Its Official! We got tickets just this afternoon for the January 2nd game vs Chicago!!

That’s right boys & girls, Nebraska is coming to St. Louis for our yearly game! And this year we’re doing it in style!

We decided to do the Meet the Blues Package & got the last set they had available for that game!!! I am SUPER excited!! Fiancé tried to tell me that we were too late & that they had sold out of the packages for that game, but when he saw how truly disappointed I was he couldn’t hold it in anymore!! LOL!!!

In case you aren’t too sure what the Meet the Blues package is:

Star-divide

Each Meet the Blues Package includes:

  • 4 Club Seats
  • 2 Autographed Hockey Sticks
  • Meet & Greet with a Blues Star
  • Club Seats include all-inclusive food & beverage.

And, for our game, here’s who we meet:

Saturday           January 2          Chicago            David Perron & Darryl Sydor

 Hells to the YES!!!

So what say you SLGT Nation? Shall we at least stand a chance to run into some of ya’ll??

Nice... congrats and MERRY CHRISTMAS

Soo. in case you hadn’t seen it, we did the package too… read more about it here

Be prepared for a lot of other folks and the players to be changed at the last minute (ours was, but Oshie was still there as you can see). They try and shuffle you through pretty quick, buy I stuck to my guns and got a photo as well as several Sweden items I brought autographed. But it was still a GREAT experience.

Don’t forget the meet and greet with GT folks… let us know if you don’t know our super secret meeting spot(s).

You can't call me a fair weather Blues fan.

I don't know who we'll have with us...we're trying to find homes for the other 2 tix of the package

But I think I’ll be able to sneek away for a little bit in between a period to meet up! I mean, its not like I have to wait in line to buy beer or anything! ! YAY Club Seats! LOL!!!

However, I do not know where the super secret meeting spot(s) are…so I need that information! I also need to know where to purchase a physical copy of the paper on game day so I can have one!!!

We usually go to Maggie O’Briens BEFORE the game for some good eats…but we always make sure we’re at the doors lined up & waiting before they open the Drink Scotch. Gotta hit up the merchandise shop ya know! It was my full intention to purchase my Backes jersey this year…but fiance raised a good point…why not buy a Perron jersey so that he can sign it? Hmmm decisions decisions…

Put your big girl panties on and deal with it!

Great!

I’ve got tickets for that one too! Unfortuatley I’ll have a few ‘Hawks fans bandwagon jumpers tagging along. They’re family, so it may not be a good idea to leave them alone for too long (one can kinda be a social Steve Ott, though most of them are cool) and join in on a GT meeting – although next time I go to a game by myself I’ll make sure and check it out – is there a secret handshake or gesture? You know, just to make it official us feel like total badasses?

I know it's time for hockey because I've started singing "Don't Stop Believing" with the words "...born and raised in FUCK DETRIOT!!!"

Wow

I’d say that was bucketloads of awesomness.

I’m looking forward to seeing the boys up here on the 26th. I just wish the Wild would stop sending me emails. It’s kinda like getting those “I’m available” hints from gals any sane guy wouldn’t touch without a court order.

I'll be there

I’m in section 105. I got the tickets for my birthday in September. Congrats on getting the tickets, its going to be one hell of a game. So, am I cool enough to be told where the secret meeting spots are? I didn’t even know we had them…

Barret Jackman is my hero.

Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun.

Keystone Lake Zamboni falls through thin ice

A Zamboni took a dip in North America's largest groomed skating pond at Keystone Resort tonight.
A driver was grooming the lake at about 6:15 p.m., when the ice cracked and the 7,000-pound machine began to sink at about 6:15 p.m. As a precaution, skaters were cleared from another area of the 5-acre pond, resort spokesman Ryan Whaley said. The driver was not injured.
There was no word immediately on how soon the rink might re-open, but staff will examine the ice and remove the Zamboni Wednesday, Whaley said.
"They'll take it out and we'll see how it is," Whaley said of the machine and the safety of the ice around the crater.
With a lake that large, other areas could reopen immediately, he said.

Once it dries out, the machine is likely salvageable, he said.
Kenneth Waesche snapped a photo of the sunken ice machine when he stopped by Lakeside Village for a pickup game of hockey. His wife planned to do some skating.
Waesche said that the "thin ice" sign in the foreground of the photo was some distance away from where the Zamboni went in.
The lake is typically open from Dec. 18 to March. 28 depending on the weather, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
