Well, we have all had a weekend to digest Friday's bed shitting. How are we all feeling?

I am not a Brewer hater, but I was shocked that we wound up with Captain Roboto over Jackman to begin with. If you want a solid blueliner who is a team guy, who better than Jackman?

what i got from that jackman article
1jackman=much much better leader then brewer.brewer still as captain just blows my mind.
2.our lockerroom is starting to get a little chaotic and frustrated.
3.fire murray
4fuck detroit
Somliga tänker på framtiden och upprörd. Fheiceáil de börjar raket och skyddsrum. Fheiceáil De TJ Oshie, börja ett nedfallet tak. "
been more for jacks than brewer
from the section i sit which is no where near the locker room, and while everyone seems invigarated by jacks words, I am trouble.
what the old guys were NOT practicing hard?!?
what murray things disciple from players is more effective that what he can do?
what players need to sit and even they know it?
what jacks didnt get forced by murray to go back out into the media and tell them none of this is andy’’s fault like KT had too?
p.s. if you were getting a head smacking, would you rather be head smacked by robo or jacks?

If you have a donkey and i have a chicken and youre donkey ate my chickens feet what would you have.... 2 feet of my cock in youre ass!! haha
Still annoyed...BUT
I have hopes. I have hopes that the loss to Edmonton will turn the team around in the same way the win over Boston did last season.
It’s just a feeling – and yes, I’ve been told I’m WAY too optimistic…but you never know.

Pujols takes out "I" in BIG and "A" in MAC, previously considered to be an unyielding, consonant threat
SIR JAXX SAYS YOU'RE GONNA GET BITCHSLAPPED UPSIDE THE HEAD!!!!!

Captain? Captain. Fucking print it.
One day, David Backes and Albert Pujols will combine forces to become the most awesome piece of violent force known to man.
Why would you give "The C" to a guy....
who is doing the coachs job. Isn’t that why we already have one.

need some help
im putting together a autographed puck collection of 09/10 players that have suited up for the blues this year for my son as a keepsake, the only puck i havent been able to find is a Jonas Junland on a blues puck.
does anyone know how to obtain one or where one can be found in st louis(will be in town this weekend)
Pujols takes out "I" in BIG and "A" in MAC, previously considered to be an unyielding, consonant threat
on something like that
(1 gamer this season, 2 -gamer career)
you’d be best off mailing a puck to
Peoria Rivermen Hockey Club
jonas junland
201 SW Jefferson St.
Peoria, IL 61602
and asking for autograph, prob 50/50 you’ll get it back wwith auto. SEND RETURN ADDRESSED PACKAGING or the odds are about zero.
heck send him a gamne time puck too and see if he will sign it.

dont have a gametime puck lol
but as far as the packaging what would i send for that, wouldnt it just be return address and the postage to resend it?
Pujols takes out "I" in BIG and "A" in MAC, previously considered to be an unyielding, consonant threat
easier to do
= better chance of it getting done. ( you could stop by on your way to st louis depending on your drive route as well, no idea if peoria is in town this weekend though.)
so i would get a padded envelope, get the postage and address on it, and include it, just make sure the puck fits in it and write a nice letter mentioning the return address is included and what your purpose is, etc. :)
there are online places dedicated to “cold mailing” hockey playe cards and what the results are, but someone like junland is just too young to probably have a history of if he will and wether it will take him a few days or a few months to do it. (yes if you go to a blog about sending stuff to get signed sometimes it takes em 6 months to give it back, and of course sometimes it never comes back)

p.s.
if you go to the game on the 18th, early and stop by the game time vender on 14th and clark i’d probably be there, early with a few pucks, else you can always tell me y PLAN to be there eventually (or another day) and i might talk john (or one of the other gt’ers) to present you with a fake puck (and maybe even a sticker!!)

I hear you’re honouring Brett Hull tomorrow.

Before there was Backes ...
… there was my longtime hope that Jackman would be the one to wear the “C.”
Judging from memory, what I’ve seen in the feeds the last two years and seen in person on a few sweet, sweet occasions, I wonder if Captain Jackman wouldn’t be booed and criticized almost as much as Brewer.
Our defensive D-men just haven’t gotten a fair shake from fans since Rob Ramage and Harold Snepsts. Rick Zombo. Murray Baron. Chris Pronger (until Al MacInnis turned him into a beast), Bryce Salvador (to some extent).
Make Jackman captain. Put the “A” on Backes. Make Sydor an assistant coach.
Yeah
How did Jackman go from “The guy we boo and yell at when Brewer’s out” to “The guy we want to be captain instead of Brewer?”
"We"
never included me.
I always thought he should be captain.
Let's go Blues!!!
by Milo. on Dec 15, 2009 5:47 AM CST via mobile up reply actions
Me neither
I just feel like a lot of the people who boo Brewer are the same people who have booed Jackman, and I don’t know there would be a lot of difference among the fans with him being captain.
it sucks that they are so old
but i think trading Kariya and Tkachuk would be a good decision
Kariya wouldnt bring much to the table trade-wise due to his injuries so maybe not him
Tkachuk had a tiff a few days ago too with Murray, so “Big Walt” needs to stop fucking around, anyone remember the weight he threw on before last season?? And his supposed “role change” basically is just going from a power forward to being a grinder without any resemblance of creativity or imagination with the puck. He used to come out of nowhere with huge hits, now he just sits on the bench with his mouth open, looking like a moron.
Weaver is a great guy and i like him a lot, but in his career he has never been able to put up points. We have enough defensive specialists, and offensive specialists waiting to come up in the minors. with such scoring troubles, along with one of the lowest goals allowed total, why would it be necessary for him to be around?
Winchester has done shit all season, I like his edge and tenacity, but sometimes thats not appropriate, especially for a team transitioning from one in which he would fit well, to a team of developing offensive players. We have enough big bodies who can do their thing, why keep around someone who cant hit the net or elude an official when taking exception?
Crombeen needs to do what he has been doing, no qualms here
Steen seems to be hitting his stride, we cant trade him due to his chronic condition of mediocrity, I like his play and think he will blossom, once he is taken off our 3rd line. how can you throw up points playing next to Cam and Winchester, its tough, ask Jordan Staal, Kyle Wellwood etc.
this is too long so ill wrap it up
“C” – Barret Jackman
“A” – Silent Jay
“A” – Andy McDonald/Chris Mason -→ if these players start producing to their potential: Backes, Kariya
I like Mason at the end because it would illuminate that the performances of players other than Jacks and Silent Jay are garbage. Boyes is not included on this list because I dont think he would speak to a teammate unless spoken to. We should call him Silent Brad or Boyes Silent (boy is silent, as in “that boy aint right peggy”)
but we must all realize our frustrations result in the desire for immediate gratification. We have been putting together a stretch of better hockey, albeit lucky SO wins. Patience is key, you dont want to tamper with the situation too much, these guys are all professionals who get paid to do what they do, they will figure it out. Sorry for the long post I just watched the replay of the game . . .

Walt doesn’t want to go anywhere and doesn’t gain us much even if he did.
No one wants Kariya’s salary for what he’s producing.
Read the trade article on here from a week or two back. I don’t think our trade position is strong for anybody we’d want to trade.
As for captains and alternates, I figure that’s best left to people who know a lot more than me. I mean, who’s to say just because we like somebody or see them producing or see the “right” qualities in them that they actually have what it takes to be captain? It’s not a reward to be handed out to players we think are doing good enough.

can’t wear the a.
give 2nd a to polak until someone takes it off his cold dead sweater

i personally think
give the C to Mason who better to get in the face of players then the one really taking the battery of shots from poor defense and a lack of offense

can’t wear the c either :)

Exactly.
He’d have to wear it on his helmet, like this guy does. Just for that ALONE, it shouldn’t happen.
One day, David Backes and Albert Pujols will combine forces to become the most awesome piece of violent force known to man.
then
the blues would still need another leader as they would dress three a’s :)
give the third a to polak until someone is man enough to pry it from his cold dead sweater :)
p.s. the captaincy rule is -→ here
