Video

It's Brett Hull night. Here are some videos.

I think it's pretty cool Hull got 500 with a hat trick goal.

More videos after the jump.

Star-divide

The 50 goals in 49 games was right around when I became a fan. I had a poster on my bedroom for commemorating this awesome achievement.

I really don't think Brett was trying hard.

The last time this video was shown, Mike Kitchen got fired. Still, it's a good tribute for Hull.

Was that the real 500th goal?

or was it the first one where he teased the crowd, and actually just had an assist?

how does JD not see the awlfullness that is AM

What do you have against the Answer Man?

He took your milk money, right?

I once shot a man just to see him die...then I got distracted and missed it.

Negativity from JD...

… would not sell any more tickets. Therefore, negativity would be a pointless endeavor.

If I recall correctly, there were general musings from JD about the great job Mike Kitchen was doing in very harsh circumstances, just before Kitch got the short haircut.

John Davidson must be a pretty fair poker player. He’s shown himself to be adept at bluffing.

How can the game not be televised

That is the stupidest scheduling I’ve ever seen.
I thought it was at least on Versus.
SUCKS

And another thought

Project Mayhem the Blues office to let them know how idiot we think they are to schedule this on a non televised night.

i am assuming

no possible tv link either or will center ice have a crew at the game with a possible stolen link?

I betcha Calgary's broadcasting it on Center Ice.

Reporter: There`s a "stamp out the Beatles movement" underway in Detroit. What are you going to do about it?

Paul McCartney: We`re going to start a campaign to stamp out Detroit.

I checked my schedule and Center Ice is showing the Calgary feed

I doubt they show much of the Brett stuff though which is a pity

The term "in my humble opinion", which they think adds weight to their statements rather than indicating , in reality, "these are the mean little views of someone with the social grace of duckweed"

I've been told the TV issue is because of the NHL and Versus

I don’t have a link to support this (except via Twitter), but I’ve been told the reason there is no local TV tonight for any US market team is that the NHL has granted Versus exclusive broadcast rights to prime time gametimes on Tuesday nights in the United States market. So.. it is probably not be the fault of the Blues organization.

We have the same issue here in Minnesota for our game versus the Blue Jackets tonight—except we get double-fucked because both teams playing are based in the United States.

If you have Center Ice, the game should be broadcast from the Calgary affiliate [or TSN—I’m not sure which]. At least, it shows up on my guide. I’m not sure how local blackout rules might apply? I don’t think they should—this happened to use earlier this year at Toronto and we received the Center Ice game in Minny.

I’m hoping GameCenter will have the broadcast of the game; but the Blues aren’t at fault on this one.

Thanks for the info!

I think that tonights’ game is on Flames PPV, which is awesome since there are no commercials to slug through and they usually have cool stuff between the periods. The Flames, Canucks, and Oilers PPV broadcasts have some of the best booth guys I’ve ever seen broadcast a game, too.

When Milo said he wanted his tacos after 5 goals, he wasn’t fucking kidding, was he?

One day, David Backes and Albert Pujols will combine forces to become the most awesome piece of violent force known to man.
