Blue news
- Blues vs. Tampa tonight. Can St. Louis beat the Lightning? Let's hope so. [CBS Sports]

- T.J. Oshie claims he doesn't think he's a star. Good, because he isn't. A star has more than 20 career goals. [Belleville News-Democrat]

- Henrik Zetterberg suffered an upper-body injury last night. [ESPN]
- Luke Schenn (sophomore slump) and Jonas Gustavsson (heart) are expected back for the Leafs on Friday. [TSN]

Praise God, it's Friday.
Not only is it Friday, it’s a half day for the kids, and the day that they leave for Christmas Break.
Of course, I have to be up tomorrow AM at 6 to drive to Florida, so that’s a buzzkill.
My question about the vets isn’t so much if they sit, but who they play with. I’m starting to get kind of burnt out on seeing Sydor with EJ. Yeah, I understand the “veteran leadership/mentor” factor, but Sydor hasn’t played well enough to be considered a top line defenseman, and his play might be holding EJ back.
It vaguely reminds me of the Mathieu Schneider/Zach Bogosian pairing. Bogosian learned a lot and he and Schneider are still pretty close, but after we traded MS to Montreal, Bogosian started to play a hell of a lot better.
Reporter: There`s a "stamp out the Beatles movement" underway in Detroit. What are you going to do about it?
Paul McCartney: We`re going to start a campaign to stamp out Detroit.
There IS a Beeriodic Table?
My life is complete.
