Not Blues related, but an interesting hockey story... Van carrying equipment got in a wreck, caught fire, and well, yeah, sucks to be them as they have a game tomorrow night in Ottawa. All of Backstrom's gear is trashed, apparently unprecedented in the NHL.
"No injuries in the accident, apparently, but if u know anything about NHL players and equipment, especially skates, players are apoplectic."
