Rivermen win in Shootout on Eller's spectacular goal
Lars Eller scored a high-light reel goal in the shootout as the baby Blues defeated the Milwaukee baby Predators 4-3.
Mike Lampman (4) and Julian Talbot (3) scored power-play goals in regulation; Barry Tallackson (5) added to a 3-1 lead, only to see the home team come back to tie the game. Talbot also scored in the shootout, but it was Eller's spectacular exhibition of stick-handling and deking that got all the attention. It should be up on you-tube in no time. Don't miss it.
Ben Bishop made 26 saves, 14 in the first period alone. Eller and Jonas Junland also contributed with an assist each. The Rivs were 2/2 on the powerplay; Milwaukee 0-7. Chet Pickard made 13 saves taking the loss.
Peoria is now two games over five-hundred with 25 points and are now 4th in the West Division, trailing Texas (34 pts.), Rockford (27), Houston (26)...and ahead of Milwaukee (24), Chicago (23), and San Antonio (17).

Sounds awesome
Thanks for the heads up. I didn’t see the goal on Youtube yet, so I’ll have to look again tomorrow.
Hopefully he’ll be using those shootout skills for the Blues in the future.
I was saying that the Blues shouldve used Eller during the shootout while he was up here...
at least because nobody really had any film on his shootout moves
Maybe that's why there is no video...
… the Blues want his moves kept secret for as long as possible.

Can't wait to see it.
Just did a YouTube search and a Google search . . . nothing yet, but if it’s half of what Teej did to TIMMAH last year in Boston . . . well, it oughta be worth the wait.
One day, David Backes and Albert Pujols will combine forces to become the most awesome piece of violent force known to man.
Someone needs to be fired in their promo dept.
You get a great goal like this and it’s not on the interwebz after 4 days? WTF over?
Some days its just not worth chewing through the restraints
