Merry Christmas, Game Timers

Continuing the tradition of celebrating non-hockey holidays in the most ridiculous fashion possible (ah, Poochie the dog and your ode to the elusive soup tureen, how we missed you), we present to you this year's winner of the "I think it's pretty good; maybe I'll put it on YouTube and see if it blows up" Christmas video winner.

The group of "Silent Night" chanting Asians almost won, and there was one that was not a rap so much as just slow singing, but at the end of the day, gmark is just too damn unintentionally funny:

Peace, oooooout!

that I have nothing against Asians.

I got mittens and a lamp

The mittens dont really fit well and I have no place near my bed to plug in the lamp.

Oh wait

I got myself a Worchester Icecats Jersey off Ebay that showed up in time for christmas. If you don’t know them they were the Blues minor league team before we had the rivermen, they are no longer around. If you look at my Gamtime fantasy league my team is named after them. Its XLarge and fits on me like a tent but its badass and I love it none the less.

Hey...Ya'll just be thankful

At least you could have a Christmas with your families. Here in Nebraska its a blizzard. We’re snowbound in the house. Drifts are up to people’s windows on the houses and it is STILL snowing. And even if we had decided to try to go to Chicago to see my family, we would have been screwed. Southwest cancelled most of their flights to Chicago from Eppley in Omaha.

Merry Christmas to you all. Thank god we have hockey tomorrow

Merry Christmas, all.

Because of this year’s circumstances, there wasn’t a big gift exchange within the family this Christmas (for those of you that don’t know . . . meh, I’ll let it go).

The best gift I received this year . . . was a Blues t-shirt that’s a size too small. Yes, it’s a size too small . . . but made of comfortable material, so it sure as fuck doesn’t FEEL too small . . . until I look in a mirror and realize that, yes, I DO have a beer gut.

Oh well. This Christmas sucked, but since I expected it to, it didn’t fall below expectations.

I’ll feel better after a few more beers. Good night, God bless, and Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas all

I would’ve loved to have all that snow. We did end up with a cold blustery winter day with a dusting. Much better than the 50’s and monsoon from the last 2 days.
I got what I asked for from hubby—a 3rd jersey. YESSSSS.
I also got an assortment of Vancouver winter olympic pins and a thermal cup. I’m ready for Feb.
My boys went to Baked Goods and painted some ceramics. Blane the 8yo painted some ornaments. Bryce the 11yo painted a hockey puck and stick bank. Then he freehanded a Bluenote on it. They were beautiful to this mom.
The boys finally got Nintendo DS’s. Ahh, the quiet during the hockey games will be great.
Until tomorrow all

Merry Christmas, SLGT (even if it is the 26th now actually)

among my gifts was a Team USA hockey sweater that I’m really excited about! It’s blank, though, so I was considering getting EJ put on it after the roster was officially announced – anyone know a place where I could get that done and how much that’d be?

I also got Beatles Rock Band, but without any of the instrument controllers – Yule Fail.

I know it's time for hockey because I've started singing "Don't Stop Believing" with the words "...born and raised in FUCK DETRIOT!!!"

Western Canadian Blues fan lovin' life!

Finally got to see some Blues games on the tube…was great to be able to laugh at all these Flamers, Oilers, and Canucks fans out here in Western Canada…guess the secret is to have the Blues play all their games on the road? Think maybe they’re gonna turn this season around now…sure hope so!

By the way, any word yet if Mason or Conklin will be starting tonight?
