Look I'm sure youre a nice person and everything but that Redwings jersey you're wearing makes me want to cave your face in with my fist...it's not you it's me and the fact that you're a fucking Redwings fan

Don't tempt him.

He’ll probably invent something physics-y to some sort of time warp and prove this. Or he’ll aim a potato cannon at your house until you admit it. A flaming-potato cannon.

More likely the latter.

Sometimes, I wonder why hockey came south of St. Louis, and then I realize, I'm south of St. Louis. Coincidence, I think not.

Speaking of

Papes II… I am still patiently waiting for new images / videos of said Papes or a new version thereof.

You can't call me a fair weather Blues fan.

Yeah, but Frenchie did it to Mark Streit . . .

who’s one of the top up-and-coming young defensemen in the NHL.

Arlbrandt’s came against some schlub from the SEL who looked as if he just got dump-trucked the play before.

No comparison, but fun to watch nonetheless.

One day, David Backes and Albert Pujols will combine forces to become the most awesome piece of violent force known to man.

Also

Perron’s goal SO did not have Euro-techno playing in the background.

Lighthouse Hockey: Side effects may include Weight gain and frequent game loss.

Subtle difference

Perron slides it through cleanly while dragging his right leg, Arlbrandt doesn’t drag his right leg and seems to slide it through and retain control by using his left skate to kick it ahead.

I’m not arguing that one move is superior to the other, just that they are a bit different. Both are sick.

Most guys do the slide and kick up to the stick

DP just slid it through his open legs, never seen anybody do it that way before. I had to watch it a couple times to make sure what I was seeing.

Anybody else see it done the DP way before?

Some days its just not worth chewing through the restraints

This is an unbelievably filthy sentence.

Let's go Blues!!!

The slide and kick is probably the easier and more controlled way, I would think.

As soon as I heard it

I muted it…. all I cared about was the visual art….
