Blues Recall Wagner and Wozniewski
Th Blues announced Sunday that defensemen Dancin' Steve Wagner and Andy Wozniewski have been recalled from Peoria.
Wagner has played 16 games for the Blues this year, posting one goal and two points. He was minus-5 in those games. During his last stint in St. Louis he was repeatedly caught out of position and was taking too many hooking penalties, which were probably a result of his poor positioning.
Wozniewski has not suited up for St. Louis before, but has 76 NHL games to his name, all of them with Toronto, His career NHL stats are two goals, 10 assists, minus-4 and 81 PIM.
Meanwhile, who knew Dancin' Steve had this in his repertoire? This is in his first game back in Peoria the last time the Blues sent him down.

What the hell???
Why on earth would the Blues recall Wozniewski? If you were to look uo the word “slug” in the dictionary, you’d see his picture. This guy is T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E…
I don’t get it. I really don’t. The Blues continue to screw around with recalling guys that have no future whatsoever, while guys that suposedly figure in their future plans get passed over.
I wish someone would explain this to me.

I think they thought they were calling up Puck Daddy, with an interest in boosting team toughness and page views.

probably because they don’t care if these call ups get hurt… just bodies. I was one that was looking forward to Wags in the beginning of the season. Maybe he found his game. Wish this kid would get his act together. Now he is just a body to support the walking dead in the opening video.
Who knows, maybe when the phone rings up in Peoria. The first words Blues management hear before muttering a sound. “O come on not again. Remember we have a deal, anybody but Jonas!!!!”

Huh...
I’m sure someone’s already brought this up before, but I just came across a site dedicated to the Red Wings, but not about the hockey team…and not about the shoe brand…

I guess a work-warning should be issued here...
Nothing really bad, just not a page you’ll necessarily want to show up on your office’s browsing history. The bumper stickers page, however, is pretty darn good.

So I'm confused...
And Brad, maybe you can try to answer this one since you were spot-on in your write-up for the Flyers game. See, the Red Wings are a good team. The Blues pretty much only play well against good teams this season. So by that rationale, they ought to come out and play an inspired game tonight against the Red Wings Menstruatus Cunnilingi.
But they’re on a 5-game losing streak, so does that mean that, for now, they’re a bad team and therefore the Blues will take another crap on the ice. Or is this current losing streak just an aberration of a good team, predetermined to continue against a team that only wins against good teams, losing streaks or not?
