PrintThe powers that be have added two more blogs to help you spend even less time with your family. And one of them is one we'll probably be seeing a lot of...next season. It's unfortunate that the Predators-themed On The Forecheck comes around the week after the Blues finish their schedule with Nashville. The Forechecker/Tootoo lover has been around these parts and has been civil. Friendly even. So hopefully that's the start of a competitive and not totally hate-filled relationship.
And you can also welcome Matchsticks and Gasoline, a blog about the Brokeback Mountain Calgary Flames. I would imagine they won't start hating Mike Keenan until after they flicker in the playoffs. They do have a cool logo. Maybe they'll ask us over for a Red Wings game some time.

“Matchsticks and Gasoline” sounds like the title of a movie Stanley Kubrick could’ve made into a masterpiece.
But yes, their logo rules . . . it’s like what I envisioned when I first listened to “Knights of Cydonia” by Muse. Fucking out of this world.
