Sometimes it's tough to be a hockey fan. The game isn't pure. You don't win just because you've worked harder. Sometimes you out-shoot an opponent 18-7 and find yourself down 1-0.

Sometimes you know you need to fight for every point and you come up with none. And yet this game and this team keeps you coming back for more.

So we do what we do as Blues fans: we pretend this shit never happened, forget about it and get ready for the game against Calgary tomorrow.

And yeah, tomorrow isn't gonna be a rose garden, either. The Flames have had the Blues' number so far this year and now they've gotten better, adding Olli Jokinen to their lineup.

But screw it. Fading playoff chances or not, we'll still be here. Will you?
