Will Leitch . . . . Blues fan? Not quite.

Will Leitch, who is certainly in the top three amongst my favorite sports journalists of all time and originally hails from nearby Mattoon, IL, writes a weekly "Ten Humans" column for Deadspin, the site he founded and was editor-in-chief of for its first 33 months of existence.

On this week's list? The Green Goblin himself. You'll have to scroll down a bit.

Anyway, he displays himself as the type of Blues fan we all hate . . . BANDWAGON JUMPER!!!!! It IS encouraging to note that he does own a Blues sweater. Nice job there, Emo Bangs.

I used to be a frequent commenter there before it got all big and you’d be one of 350 people to make a dick joke about a naked punter.

Will gave us some love on Deadspin back in the early days. And he signed a book to gallagher saying that Carl Monday was watching Sean him have fun by himself.

I might drop Will a line and see if he wants to stop by and get educated and shit.

I just go there for the entertainment of it all. I can’t keep up with the commenters they have there now, but the writing is grand.

True Story: I found SLGT when Deadspin linked to y’all’s story about Legace’s Palin Carpet Mishap – a good 4 to 5 months after Leitch “exited” (honestly . . . the dude ain’t ever gonna leave).
