Blues Trade Minor Leaguer To Penguins
The St. Louis Blues traded Andy Wozniewski to the Pittsburgh Penguins organization for Danny Richmond. Sounds like a pond hockey trade in sixth grade. "Hey guys, let's mix it up. We'll trade you Danny for Andy."
Just in case you don't know who either guy is (Wozniewski has played in one NHL game this year for the Blues), Richmond is a defenseman who has spent the season with the Wilkes/Barre-Scranton Penguins. He has three assists and 75 penalty minutes in 49 career NHL games.
Wozniewski is a defenseman who has two goals and 10 assists plus 81 penalty minutes in 77 career NHL games.
For some reason TSN hasn't gone in depth on this transaction yet.

Peoria must be pumped!
Actually, Richmond was picked #31 overall…. so that would make him a “bust”, right?
...
from the looks of things, they should have been in Peoria …

damnit
wozniewski was my favorite player to assign to the minors and forget about till his contract expired in NHL 09…speaking of which, the blues suck wastewater in that game, EA really fucking hates us
You say 'Tomato', I say 'FUCK DETROIT', so lets call the season off
Wozniewski was a waste of a roster spot, IMO...
Peoria’s better off with just about anyone in his place. The guy was slow as a glacier, and played like he had a carton of eggs in his pocket.
