lets talk about the team meltdown for a sec. i don’t understand why the blues (team, managers, press) psyched themselves out of the groove they had established leading into the playoffs. they are playing tense and out of sync because they were told they need to “step it up”, they “need to improve things if they want to win a playoff game”. basically, “you thought you were good but not good enough”. now they are playing like junk. stop the nonsense. get back to what worked. chill the f out. and if they want to buy into the luongo hype they’ll be taking that excuse with em to the 1st tee. yea he’s good but a you don’t THINK that during the series. come on BLUES!

I agree...

to an extent.

My thoughts are, the playoffs are such a different animal than the regular season. What got us to the the playoffs isn’t necessarily what advances you once you get there. The game is tighter, hitting is harder, and later, and the goals scored tend to be the ugly ones. IE not the perfect shot that we sometimes get the mindset to wait for.
This is of course from a fan who is not nearly as experienced or as intelligent as the GT staff.
