It's a damn fine read about two franchises going in two different directions. I don't have a serious hate for the 'Habs, but they do have a very demanding fanbase that can eat you alive. Given that Carey Price taunted the crowd back for jeering him ala Patrick Roy, it will be interesting to see what the off season will be like for the one of the most celebrated franchises in the history of the NHL.
Lot's of Love for the Blues from the press in the north...
Let's go Blues.

Playing hockey in Montreal is worse than playing any sport in Philadelphia...
The fans are fickle in Philly, but it’s a symbol of frustration. In MTL, the culture is much like the Yankees in that they won a lot of Cups in the team’s history, but nothing lately. So the fans always have this expectation of winning the Cup like they did in the Original Six/Twelve days, and the the fans never let the players forget it. No matter how unrealistic those expectations might be.
Let’s face it, if you’re so smart that you’d chase Patrick Roy out of town…
