PrintEvery round of the playoffs produces some classic quotes, either from the players, coaches, media or the fans.
Mine was form Puck Duddy, posted by The Great One regarding the whistle on the disputed goal. Blowgate if you will.
Maybe they need to put the whistle on a binkie, so they can have it in their mouths at all times?
I had a brain fart and interpreted "binkie" to mean penis which made the quote even funnier in my feeble mind. Either way, putting the ref's whistle on a binkie or their own dicks so it would always be ready in their mouth flat cracked me up.

i dont understand that call. they said no goal because the referee had INTENT TO BLOW THE WHISTLE?
1. why was he even trying to blow the whistle?
2. the referees intent to blow the whistle was nullified by the players intent to score

Best quote ever... sorta, not really.
This one is from the Rangers series actually, “It’s a good thing Varlamov doesn’t speak any English, else Avery would’ve lost his berries on that one.” PJ Stock on Avery punching Varlamov in the face in game #2 of the Washington/New York series.
-It may not have been Stock who said it, but it was an HNIC commentator.
