Second Round Begins Tonight
We've been checking the schedules but can't seem to find when the Blues play next. Surely just a typo.
Tonight the hated division rival Chicago Blackhawks take on the Vancouver Canucks in British Columbia.
When the Blues get knocked out of the playoffs, we usually find ourselves rooting against the team that knocked them out. Plenty of fans take the opposite tack, hoping that team does well.
We thought we'd see what you have to say.

Let's see
Root for a rival team. Nope.
Root for the team I grew to dislike as they swept my team. Nope.
or
Root for a team from Chicago. Nope.
Root for the Sedin twins. Nope.
Yeah, I voted for option three.

Yeah, it’s an impossible choice. If there was a “hope they somehow sweep each other and get disqualified by a massive federal drug bust” option, that would get my vote.
Don’t like the possibilities in the West finals, either. {sigh}
Lighthouse Hockey: Side effects may include Weight gain and frequent game loss.
My money's on the East now too.
Though I would find it hysterical for the Hawks to get their asses kicked. I won’t be cheering FOR the ’Nucks, per se. But I would not complain if they won.
Reporter: There`s a "stamp out the Beatles movement" underway in Detroit. What are you going to do about it?
Paul McCartney: We`re going to start a campaign to stamp out Detroit.
I didn’t think we’d get too many SLGTer’s along for the ride. I’d do the same if I were in your shoes.
That said, the door’s open if you want to get some anger out in Chicago’s direction though. Your crew is always welcome.

I will as well.
It oughta be lively when the series moves to Chi-Town.

well...
I’m going to ignore the Blackhawks/Canucks game and concentrate on Ducks/FuckDetroit.

game 1 final: 5-3 Canucks. Vancouver had a 3-0 lead going into the 3rd. (I saw that and was like “huh?!? you see this shit?? for all you bastards that said the Blues weren’t cut out to play Vancouver or even be in the playoffs, whaddaya say to this?? Vancouver is the real deal!”) Chicago tied it with like 3 minutes to go and Vancouver scored again and got the empty netter to put it away.
yeah, I’m pulling for the Canucks. I know they beat us (swept us even), but with the other options out there, I’m sticking with the team that beat us.

Oh, so you want to root for the ShitCago SuckHawks?
Knock yourself out, dude.
I’d probably rather be bashed in the face repeatedly with a medieval mace than root for them Injuns.
