I was only five years old and barely cognizant of life, much less hockey, when that happened . . . and I would REALLY love to hear Dan Kelly’s call of it some time, if audio exists . . . but anyway, I don’t remember the Miracle as it happened, but I can’t even tell ANY of you how many times I’ve watched that clip – either on TV highlights, on the “inner-tubes” or in my brain – since childhood.

As great a moment as the Monday Night Miracle was… I was 21 at the time… There was the " Wednesday Night Reality Check " in Calgary for Game 7. The Winner would advance to the Stanley Cup Finals VS the then Rookie Sensation Goalie Patrick Roy and a " Young " Chris Chelios Montreal Canadians. Final Score : Flames 2 Blues 1 " Sob " The Curse of Bobby Orr’s exuberant flying thru the air past St. Louis D Noel Picard after the beantown hero had fired the Game 4 winner in overtime past Blues Goalie Glen Hall to win the 1970 Stanley Cup is still in effect to this day… " Sob " I was not even in Kindergarden yet… Damm I’m getting Old…
