Pit @ Wash GDT

Fine I'll do it.  If you have any casual fans you know, if you have any non-hockey fans you know...call them up, do everything you can to get them to watch this game.  If these two teams play anything like they did in the first 6 games it will be something special to see.  If that doesn't get fans into hockey I don't know what will (especially compared with a cards/pirates game).  Predictions are welcome and will be mocked later

o btw

what a nasty save on ovie by varlamov.

by TheDarkMongoose on May 13, 2009 6:25 PM CDT reply actions

I think you mean Fleury

but as someone who is wanting the Caps to win this game, that does not bode well if he is on like that tonight

by Doc Whiskey on May 13, 2009 6:27 PM CDT up reply actions

Lol hahaha, yeah my bad I was talking to someone while I was typing that.

by TheDarkMongoose on May 13, 2009 6:34 PM CDT up reply actions

Since there is only one game tonight, I’d be Okay with that

Hatred Walking

by Doc Whiskey on May 13, 2009 6:28 PM CDT up reply actions

Even though it could lead to many heart attacks, I really just don’t want this series to end. It’s been way too much fun.

by TheDubGee on May 13, 2009 6:30 PM CDT up reply actions

Fucking Crosby

How lucky can you get

Hatred Walking

by Doc Whiskey on May 13, 2009 6:33 PM CDT reply actions

If you watch the replay

He angles his skate at the last second to kick it to himself. He’s a douche but the guy is an unbelievable talent.

Not afraid to nitpick

I dunno, Pitt has been choking all series…. but man the caps look baaaad

by TheDarkMongoose on May 13, 2009 6:35 PM CDT up reply actions

The caps better come out with a lot more energy and intensity next period or they are DOA

Hatred Walking

by Doc Whiskey on May 13, 2009 6:46 PM CDT reply actions

Seriously

This is sad. Actually, if they could just stay on their feet, I’d call it an improvement

by TheDubGee on May 13, 2009 6:48 PM CDT up reply actions

Oh geez...

enough with the Detroit crap. Go Ducks tomorrow

There are no words for the variety of suck that the Caps are currently displaying…

I’m not losing hope yet, but JEEZ they need to step it up big time

by TheDubGee on May 13, 2009 7:10 PM CDT reply actions

I bet the NHL is pissed

this was supposed to showcase the league, not be a blow out abortion

Mike Green

should have been benched about 5 games ago…

by TheDubGee on May 13, 2009 7:14 PM CDT reply actions

Hell at this point..

Boudreau should just let the dogs out, attack and make it exciting at least

Hatred Walking

by Doc Whiskey on May 13, 2009 7:18 PM CDT reply actions

ITS ABOUT FUCKING TIME

1 down, 4 more to go

Hatred Walking

by Doc Whiskey on May 13, 2009 7:37 PM CDT reply actions

If there is a team who can score 4 goals in a period, it is the Capitals…

Unfortunately, the Capitals haven’t shown up for the game yet.

by TheDubGee on May 13, 2009 7:47 PM CDT reply actions

I just hope they close the gap and make it interesting, they gotta work quick though

Hatred Walking

by Doc Whiskey on May 13, 2009 7:49 PM CDT reply actions

Same here. Though I’m rooting for the Caps, I really like both of these teams. I’m not as disappointed that the Caps are losing as I am that it’s not even close, that they don’t even seem to be trying

by TheDubGee on May 13, 2009 7:52 PM CDT up reply actions

damn… Crosby strikes again…

by TheDubGee on May 13, 2009 8:02 PM CDT reply actions

WooooooooTTT!!! Brooksie!!!!!

by TheDubGee on May 13, 2009 8:09 PM CDT reply actions

I have to say, I’m pretty bummed. granted, I wanted Washington to win. but if it were a close game, I’d be all “well damn, oh well, good series. well done Pens” but with this blowout, I’m like “what. the. fuck. this game sucked”

at least Ovechkin wasn’t gonna get showed up, he made the Pens look real bad on his goal.
shit, I wish the Boston/Carolina game was on tonight instead
