my Free Agent wishlist

well these are the free agents I would like to see in the Blue Note with the current status of the Cap

petr sykora: I think this guy still has some left in the tank, veteran leadership paired with Tkachuk would be outstainding and would probably sign for the same size contract

maxim afinogenov: fast player with a nice shot and good passing, bit of a reach on salary and change of scenery might bring him back to level he was before the slump

marty biron: as a back up to mason or platoon them as the Blues usually do with goaltending.  now the salary might be a stretch but he has been fairly consistent for the flyers as they have made the playoffs the past couple of years.

and as always if salary was not an issue

on D i would like Schneider, bouwmeester

Forwards: Tanguay, Cole, henrik sedin, cammalleri, havlat

Henrik Sedin . . .

will not be going anywhere his brother isn’t. You can put that one in permanent marker.

I wouldn’t mind Sykora, but I’d probably rather hold off on Afinogenov. He’s spent WAY too much time on the shelf in the last couple years (not like he was a picture of top health before then, either). And before anyone mentions Colaiacovo and his “Splodeybones-ness” in Toronto . . . yeah, we got lucky there obviously, but luck runs out.

LOL

just a wishlist not to bad though

Pujols takes out "I" in BIG and "A" in MAC, previously considered to be an unyielding, consonant threat

well...

not to say i disagree with all of your wish list, but…
i do.
how ‘bout Andropov, Knuble and Craig Anderson
they seem to me like safer choices, ’course that isn’t saying much, my predictions tend to suck.

going along with cap issues

knuble will want to much and antropov wouldnt be bad but we have enough grinders on the team

Craig Anderson, and that’s it

if we pull off this Heatley trade or not. we’re pretty much set on roster spots. the only question would be back-up goaltending

Anyone else heading to Friday's prospect practice at the Mills?
I was at Harry's bar last night on Market Street and look who walks by me. Talked to him a bit and he seems ready for the season to start. Guy has bulked up a lot. Guessing he's 6'1-6'2 and up to 215-225. He's a tank.
Check it out boys, Halak training over in Slovakia, in his new Blues gear. Sadly, no helmet!
One of the few rewards of going through old boxes in the basement. I have at least a couple of hundred of these in a box. This happened to be the 1st one I pulled out. Dated Feb. 15, 2000.

Halak's new glove via ASs on twitter. Hope to see the new pads and blocker as well. For that matter, can't wait to see Halak in action for the Blues.
