Jiri Hudler
If hossa signs with detroit than samuelsson and hudler will be ufa's if im not mistaken. samuelson can go dissappear with a different team than the wings, he brings almost nothing to the table. Hudler is a wild-card player and i believe he is held back rather than pushed forward by the wings system. he would be a top line forward if not powerplay specialist at any other team. so yes or no, would you like to see hudler in the note?

Hudler’s a RFA, which means it will take a trade or offer sheet to pry him out of Motown. I think Holland would prefer not to deal the guy within the Wings’ division, if he could avoid it.
Given that the Blues already have a solid contingent of smallish, offensive-minded forwards, I don’t think Hudler’s a necessary addition at this point.
And, uh, not to be that guy, but the Blues had a shot to draft Hudler in 2002 at #48 overall. They went for some jobber named Alexei Shkotov instead.

Nope.
Just . . . nope.
It’d take at least three years to wash off the Detroit stank.

Yup...
Three years after leaving Detroit, where’s Manny Legace?

Pass – put smaller players on less talented teams and they wlll not play as well. We’ve got plenty of small to medium sized players, we don’t need another. Hudler needs quick puck moving Dmen to use his speed and agility…we don’t have that yet.
