Okay, as you may know, the kind Blues schedule means that it's looking very likely that I will be able to fly over for my first trip to the US in January 2010 - I'll be staying with a friend in Anaheim and taking in the Blues games on the west coast.

Now...there's a very good possibility that, once I leave Anaheim, I'll be able to stop for a couple of days in St Louis.  Flying into St Louis on the Wednesday...and staying overnight for a couple of days and taking in the game against Minnesota.  I'm dying to see the Blues play on home ice.

This is where I need your help.  This will be my first trip to the US.  I don't know St Louis at all.  Whether I make the St Louis leg will depend on budget.  So...any suggestions on where to stay etc?  Preferable somewhere reasonably cheap - close to Scottrrade would be good because it CAN be quite daunting staying in an unfamiliar city when you're all on your lonesome. 

Suggestions on places to see etc would be good - and if anyone is up to meeting a Brit woman for the game then I'd appreciate it!
