Happy 5th of July!...doesn't have quite the same ring does it?
Blues News:
- We haven't signed anybody new and I don't see any new analysis concerning Ty Conklin. But I bet I know of a cowboy-hatted Blues fan that'll sponsor this guy's Hockey Reference page.
NHL News:
- Dale Tallon didn't send out those Qualifying Offers illegally...it was the ONE ARMED MAN! Read about it at TSN, From the Rink, and Second Indian.
- Ryan Smyth goes from getting to mentor Matt Duchene to mentoring Brayden Schenn. Dealt to Los Angeles for two defensemen who have never been in my kitchen and a 5th rounder. Puck Daddy and Mile High Hockey tell you all about it. RudyKelly posts a bunch of inside jokes in a rant explaining his distaste for Captain Canada.
- Teemu plans on hanging up the skates after this season.
- Recchi is done after this season, as well.

Milo moves up a couple of notches in my book with this suggestion. Weird Al's "Eat It." It's part homage to the Hot Dog Eating Contest and part homage to Micheal Jackson. Just eat it.

The episode where he’s on Jeopardy, builds up a massive lead then blows it all on Final Jeopardy on a question he couldn’t figure out . . . where his response was “Who is someone who’s never been in my kitchen?”
At least I seem to remember something like that happening.
