Blues sign '08 3rd rounder Ian Schultz
Played for the Hitmen last year in the WHL. Is he old enough for Peoria?

If he's 19...
… I think that’s old enough to play in the AHL. If I remember correctly you have to be 18 by September of that season to play, but there were issues with kids who were 18 being sent to Jrs and bypassing the AHL last season, so who knows.

Paul McCartney: We`re going to start a campaign to stamp out Detroit.
Have to be 20
In order to play in the AHL, you have to be the age of 20 by some cutoff date in January, or you have to have accrued four seasons in major junior I believe.
Oh... it's the major junior thing that threw me off.
Some Europeans have been able to squeak in at 18 even, but I think that it’s the MJ play that made that possible.

claims the Blues are looking into signing Alex Tanguay.

sweet pick-up
at the right price.
Pujols takes out "I" in BIG and "A" in MAC, previously considered to be an unyielding, consonant threat
He’s has a bit of a decline the last couple years but at the age of 29, he’d be a nice addition.

agreed
Tanguay would never be expected nor expect to play on our top pairing, hed be a great addition to a possible second line if we wanted to throw someone back and continue mcclemets great season by trying to make the third line a legit scoring line as well, and would only make our 4th line that much more deep & competetive. Destroyer said it perfectly, sweet pick-up but at the right price, were not trying to overpay an aging player in any way.
hahaha just read milos post, took some air out of my sails
Fuck Detroit
If it's from Hockeybuzz,
there’s a 3% chance it is accurate.

true
The Note is probably linked as a possible destination just cause they actually have some cap space to make a signing.
Still its fun to think about.

3%?
You’re too kind.
I give it .000001%.

Say it with me: "Who?"
I have tried to keep up with prospects, but this name didn’t jump out at me like the others…

LOL
I know the feeling. We seem to have SOO many that names just pass by in a flash.
Unless the name jumps out at me – like Max Tardy who just plain intrigues me – then I wait for you guys on here to give me the lowdown.

Yeah I was disapponted that Tardy wasn't going straight to college....
…I was looking forward to seeing him play for Duluth, bt I’ll have to wait a year. (Yes, I live in a part of the country where one can watch a handful of UMD games if they are so inclined.)
