Saturday Links: Early Edition
That's right. If you got your ass up at 5:30AM to check Game Time, then good for you. You get to check out the linkage a half hour earlier than usual. Gimmicky? Sure. But it did get me through the intro.
Blues News:
- Single Game Tickets. Get some.
NHL News:
- Olympics affecting the NHL season? It's an ESPN article, but it's "special to ESPN.com," which leads me to believe that this person doesn't work full time for them, adding to his credibility.
- Maple Leafs legend Theodore Kennedy passes on. Pension Plan Puppets mourns.
- PPP also writes "The Book of Rebuild"
- The NHL announces that they will make an announcement concerning the Winter Classic on Monday. What, oh what, could it be?
- Canada settled insurance concerns over players attending Olympic camp.
Other Stuff:
- This game has to be the lovechild of Tetris and Scrabble. You'll see what I mean.
- Make sure you know what's in your salad.
- Well, at least he made it indoors.
Video:
Gallagher passes along a Sesame Street video. But then again, it's not a Sesame Street video.

I'm pretty sure the Winter Classic announcement will be that there will be 2 college games played a week later on the outdoor rink.
"Brad Winchester playing on a line with Perron and Berglund is like the fat kid who you invite to play one day because you didn't have enough skaters, yet you don't have the heart to tell them to leave the next few times you play. Damn you Andy Murray." -Author Unknown
Beanpot Tournament games?
If Boston University is involved in one of them, which they should be, that might be a chance for David Warsofsky to appear on a national stage.

The aforementioned Rivermen article...
…is a work in progress, a new weekly feature that we’ll be debuting this year.
Look for it during the week of September 25, when the Rivermen open their exhibition season against in-state rival (and Blackhawks farm club) Rockford.
