Blues On Radio Tonight? (I Think So) [Game Night Thread!]

Hockey Prof here:

I know the Blues web site says no TV/Radio tonight, but the Wild website says:

Audio from tonight's game will be streamed live via WCCO on CBS radio

For what it's worth....

ADDING:

Since none of the higher ups seem to be around (drinking?) I'm promoting this to a game thread.

Really.  I've nothing better to do.

by Rich of GASL on Sep 15, 2009 9:21 PM CDT up reply actions

Umm

In my opinion, there’s a better chance of Sheppard progressing than Irmen, Pouliot, Kalus or Gillies. Sheppard will have much more freedom this season, which should allow him to succeed in the offensive zone. He spent so much time worrying about finding himself in Lemaire’s doghouse for not playing enough positional defense that he never got into the flow of the game.

He had a much better second half of the season last year and it should be something upon which he can build.

Beer Review

OK, I’ve been working on brew number two: a 750ml bottle of Gouden Carolus Belgian Brown Ale. ($9)

It’s great.

End review.

Well

We’ll take the 34 shots as a step in the right direction. Of course, if the Blues lost to the Houston Aeros, I’d be very concerned for your guys.

Nice win, though.

It sounds like Bishop was really sharp out there. I’m very thankful that we have that depth in goal, even if it is just one down from Conklin.

He’s ready for the season apparently.

Well, that's a good start.

I have him on a few fantasy teams because the draft was going so badly I decided to just goon the shit out of it. Conk, Boll… I think I have Cote. What the hell. If I can’t win in the offensive categories, I sure as hell am going to win somewhere.

And Juan Mallagher was at the game tonight. I was shocked.

I could have done without the second period and most of the third. But the goaltending was stellar. This is going to be a good year(famous last words).

Aaand I am off to attempt to go to bed.

Hopefully my upstairs neighbors can not have a 2 hour conversation on their deck at 12 am tonight.

Eh, well. Fairly soon I can start blasting them out with hockey in surround sound. Karma’s a bitch.

G’Night everybody – this was so nice to do after such a long time. I’ve missed the GDTs.

Preseason sports.

Nice to hear the Blues won and all. But preseason sports of any kind makes me want to act like it’s not happening.

Wake me when they’re in Stockholm.

Oh, and if Backes actually DOES get hurt between then and now, consider me armed and ready to fucking kill someone.

G’night kids!

He can’t actually get hurt. It was an illusion cast by the government to make it look like he got hurt but it was actually a fake Backes that got hurt, cause the real Backes is obviously invincible.
