I would rank tonight’s show in my top 5 all time. SD killed it. Changed up the oldies enough to make them new and they have a new drummer that is flat out incredible.

So glad I went. Lot’s of shoving through the whole night too. Mike Ness offered to talk to anyone’s boss who had to go to work tomorrow.

So fucking good. New album coming out in the not too distant future.

It was at Pop’s so it was bitchin. No Sauget Street fight for AM tonight. I miss those some times because they are always wild as hell.

When I lived in SoCal

A buddy of mine took me to a steakhouse that had no name on it. The motto on their menus was “Don’t Tell Nobody” which has, as GT regulars will note, stuck with me through the years.

After we sat down and got settled, by buddy said, “Hey, is that Mike Ness over there?” Sure enough, he was in the back doing his thing and concurrent with the place’s motto, no one was bugging the guy, either.

And that, friends, is my Brush With Greatness story for the day.
