Blues Videos From Sweden

Hey gang.

Found some videos that SVT (Swedish national television) made. No translations for the ones in which they speak Swedish (I'm lazy, plus it's basically just the usual blahblahblah's), but I thought it might be fun for you to see anyway. Lot's of stuff going on in the background, too.

Video 1: About Murray and Berglund. Love when the Goblin's yelling at the guys in the start of the video. "Are you guys stupid, or what?!" (In Swedish.)

Video 2: Interview w/ the coach. (In English.)

Video 3: Interview w/ Keith Tkachuk. (In English.)

Video 4: Interview w/ Alexander Steen. About three minutes in, DJ King Kong comes in view, looks stupid, then leaves. There's just something hysterically funny about those 5 seconds. (In Swedish.)

I couldn't get the 4th video link to open Marcus

Thanks for the info.

I loved AM’s line that someone has to blow the whistle and that’s his job.

Walt saying that he’s old and played with Steen’s dad was good.

Sorry

It should be working now.

Thanks, Marcus!

The second I get a planning period (IF I get one today… ugh) I am tuning in. I was really disappointed that this game wasn’t televised last night, and the one Friday is on Stupid Versus (and yes, Stupid is now to be capitalized from here on out) that I can’t watch anymore. Ugh.

I caught that and had to wonder...

Is that caused because he was thinking “Man, I’d like to trade Steen for Holmstrom.”

Those "Plus Player" team t-shirts...

Are they trying to send a not so subliminal subliminal message to Boyes and Walt?

not really subliminal

murray called out boyes for being minus. he said in an interview that boyes was good, but he needs to be a plus player.

I'm starting to wonder.

Because usually when you have to point out something EXTREMELY OBVIOUS to people (like I did last class about self-explanatory instructions on a project), they’re probably not going to get it after you point it out.

Because, I kid you not, I got asked the same question by the same kid literally 3 minutes later.

DJ King...

looked like he just got done with a crying session because somebody stole his power bar.

Any idiot would know that.

by Epic on Sep 30, 2009 1:55 PM CDT reply actions

I would probably cry too if someone stole my snack…

…well actually I’d probably go on a killing rampage

Thanks for posting this!

Also..I don’t know that I’ve actually heard Berglund speaking Swedish before..don’t judge me while I fangirl for a split second.

I stumbled upon a video this summer

where he was speaking Swedish. I had no clue what was going on or what they were talking about. He was holding a sunflower? But, um, yeah… I fangirled way more than a split second, so you go right on ahead

Great videos Marcus!

Would’ve been interesting to see the Goblin try to slog through a Swedish interview though. Because you know, eventually he’d probably snap and try to act like the reporter’s head was that of Spiderman.

One day, David Backes and Albert Pujols will combine forces to become the most awesome piece of violent force known to man.

Thanks Marcus!

I wish I was there.
All I’d learn was “I’m from away” & “I don’t speak Sverge”.
DJ didn’t look any stupider than usual [talk about damning with faint praise!].

I clicked the “Ishockey” link above the screenin green and the first clip is two and a half hours of Färjestad vs. Skellefteå, which features David Rundblad wearing #7 for Skellefteå.

This is great!

Thanks Marcus

If you click on the Ishockey button, the first clip is the entire game between Färjestad – Skellefteå.

These are excellent, thanks!!

I love how Andy Murray asked if they were doing the interview in Swedish, as though he could do the interview in Swedish…

Anyone else heading to Friday's prospect practice at the Mills?
I was at Harry's bar last night on Market Street and look who walks by me. Talked to him a bit and he seems ready for the season to start. Guy has bulked up a lot. Guessing he's 6'1-6'2 and up to 215-225. He's a tank.
