Eller, Junland Stand Out In AHL Skills Competition...

...but their PlanetUSA squad lost the overall skills competition to Team Canada.

Junland, a defenseman in his second successive All-Star competition, teamed with Sergei Shirikov (Manitoba) and Jack Skille (Rockford) to win the Puck Control Relay.

Eller electrified the crowd in the Fastest Skater event, in which he finished second overall with a lap around the rink in 13.790 seconds. Hartford’s Bobby Sanguinetti won it in 13.677. No other player was under 14 seconds.
